Tuesday 24th May – watercolour workshop with Alan Lawson – Day 2 – Hotel Villa de Rondini

Spot the painting!

On our second day Alan Lawson continued to lead by example – he clearly has an amazing eye for colour – as evidenced by the photo (left) where, so perfect is the colour match, it is almost difficult to find the painting!

Alan not only teaches at the prestigious Florence Academy but also does corporate activity programmes and paints commissioned portraits across Europe.  He has an seemingly easy teaching style through which he imparts a lot of information with minimum fuss.

Susan enjoyed our first day painting up at the Hotel Villa le Rondini so much she asked to come back and also enjoyed a second day up in the peace and quiet of the Hotel garden.

What could be nicer that painting under the Tuscan Sun with a , view like this, a fully absorbing subject matter and an inspiring teacher?

Under the Tuscan Sun!
