Explore a new world of art – make your own watercolour paintings to take home and impress your family or simply enjoy the learning experience!
Something to look forward to before winter draws in – Florence is usually lovely in October – not too hot – ot too busy! If by any unfortunate chance it does rain we have places to paint indoors and tables and easels can be provided but in our experience the weather is pleasant and comfortable and the light inspirational.
And whether you are a complete novice or an experienced artist, Florence is always going to be a wonderful place to paint – and not only in the Renaissance, even today, many artists flourish under the Tuscan Sun!
Glynis Barnes Mellish is a well known water-colour portrait painter in the UK, but she has also got more than 20 years of teaching experience and is the author of many books, including Watercolour Workshop I and II
We will paint in locations in and around the City of Florence, and we always work with a smallish group so everyone gets space to watch Glynis doing a demo and then have plenty of personal time with your tutor to learn some new tricks.
