Thanks again to everyone who worked so hard and contributed so much to make this Art of Writing Writers retreat a success.
Jim and Lisa were terrific course tutors and the additional input from Dierdre, Catherine and Morag (aka Anne or Emma!) throughout the week was invaluable.
It was also clever to use Skype technology to get input from Michele Fabio on popular stoylines and April Eberhart on going the “Indie” route to publishing.
Below shows the writing group – minus motivational speaker Matthew Ferrara , who took the photos, but complete with tutors Lisa Clifford, Jim Friel and Dierdre Pirro.
I love this – looks as if Dierdre and Jim are playing Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil charades – Jane might qualify for See no Evil in her dark glasses – Lisa and I just enjoying the moment!

Your writer’s retreat sounds wonderful, Penny. I’m sure that Vicki will be interested in participating next year when we’re living there. Like her novel that takes place in Rome, she has a number of writing projects in mind, centered in Florence and environs. We’re back home in the U.S., got back very early Tuesday morning.
