Plate painting on a wheel is easier than it looks and enables you to create a personally satisfying souvenir for your friends, family or personal use.
The group lesson lasts about two hours and costs only €40
At the end of the session, even complete beginners have a beautifully painted plate, following Etruscan or early Florentine designs, to take home.
The glazed plates have to be fired – usually overnight – but once complete you will have a completely unique souvenir of your visit to Florence.
