Ristorante Dino is in Via Ghibellina 47r, the same street as Casa Buonarotti – the family home of Michelangelo – now a museum displaying some of his early sculptures and many drawings.
I am sure that the Great Master would have appreciated the talents of the chef here as much as we did – not the least young Barney who couldn’t take his eyes off Nonna Renza when she appeared with tidbits especially for him at he end of the evening!
I ordered with some trepidation Cinghiale with a touch of Chocolate – but I shouldn’t have worried – it was melt in the mouth delicious, marinated to perfection and the chocolate was just enough hint to make it wonderful – certainly not overpowering.
The photo doesn’t do it justice – you need to go along and try for yourself!
