La Botte, based close to Santa Croce, offers a new wine tasting concept for Florence, through which you can fill up your La Botte card with credit and select a small (or large!) amount from a large selection of bottles until your credit is used up!
All the bottles are stored at optimum temperature and the bottle seals ensure no air gets into the bottles to pollute the flavour of the wine.
Kath, Susan and I had attended a YAWN meeting – okay it might be stretching a point to label us as Young – but we qualified on the Anglo-Saxon woman network front so went along anyway! An enjoyable evening making new friends and contacts in Florence!
