Tuscan cookery class with Lisa Banchieri – held at Amor di Vino


Another great class with Lisa teaching us all we need to know about making scrummy individual vegetable flans, soft potato gnocchi with a strong basil and parmigiana + pecorino pesto, tender chicken thighs with onions, cherry tomatoes and pistachio, oven baked asparagus wuth prosciutto – and finishing off with a raspberry tiramisu – my mouth is watering again just writing about it.

In the morning we had visited the Central Market in Florence to see all the ingredients on display and also had a short tasting of Balsamic vinegar and various blends of pecorino cheese.


Lisa’s passion for cooking is evident in every word she uses to describe food – and we certainly enjoyed the results. Yummy indeed!
