I have made a podcast with the Reinvention diva.com
I have spent a very interesting morning talking about myself into a recording machine – what a novel experience – but quite therapeutic – so why and how?
Why? Because I have met Sharon Simpson – the ReInvention Diva!

Sharon got in touch with me after our cookery class in Stockwell with my Italian cookery teacher, Lisa Banchieri. She operates a website magazine called the www.reinventiondiva.com and one of the lovely ladies who came to our class, Jane Wharam, has already done an interesting Podcast Interview with Sharon about her own experience.
Jane kindly thought that both Lisa and I had good stories to tell about how we had completely changed our own lives after life upsetting experiences -( in my case redundancy after 33.3 years in a job I really loved )- and had passed our details onto Sharon.
So How? – Sharon came to my house this morning and interviewed me about the steps I took to set up Beyond the Yalla Dog and the courage that it took to make such a radical career change at my age. The point being, of course, that I had reinvented myself by returning to my first love – Art – in as many forms as I can find it – and that is what Florence is all about!
Lisa’s turn next time she is over in December! She can tell her own story!

So a big thank you to Sharon -and to Jane for the referral
I promise I will do some more promotion of Sharon’s business when the Podcast interview is published!

My pleasure, Penny! Sharon’s a bit of a star, isn’t she?
It was a pleasure interviewing you Penny, your story really moved and inspired me.
This is the part I love about the Reinvention Diva project, is learning about different experiences.
I’ll let you know as soon as I put the interview up.
Have a wonderful time
With love
Sharon
