Casa Emma Winery

We went to Casa Emma today – always a pleasure to listen to their enthusiastic team taking about their organic approach to wine production – and then to taste their delicious wines!!

This is the main entrance to the processing area and the all important wine tasting room – the property has recently been extended to include a restaurant with views over their 34 hectare estate.
It is now possible to eat fresh pasta with all fresh ingredients, as is traditional in Tuscan cookery, all washed down with a fine Chianti -whilst you relax and enjoy the unique Chianti scenery.

Casa Emma invests a lot in keeping their product up to the highest quality – with stainless steel vats for fermentation at a constant temperature and new wooden barrels – replaced regularly – forming part of their good taste and less waste strategy.

The final part of the process – ageing for another couple of years in their bottles.

And they maintain a very good selection of bottles of wine , olive oil and even balsamic vinegar to try, enjoy and if you like – buy!
